Fire breaks out on sailing boat near Epidaurus

A fire broke out on board a sailing boat as it was passing through the sea region of Kalamaki near old Epidaurus on Sunday.

All five Greek nationals on board were reported to be safe and well.

The five passengers of the sailing boat managed to climb into its auxiliary dinghy and reach the shore with safety.

Two coast guard vessels and a fire-fighting boat are now heading toward the burning sailing boat.
