A fire that broke out in the coastal Attica area of Lagonissi, near a residential area, on Saturday afternoon was reported to be partially under control.
A force of 50 fire fighters and 17 vehicles are continuing to battle the flames, while fire-fighting aircraft have departed.
According to sources, one elderly man suffered minor burns and is being questioned to determine whether he was in any way linked to the start of the fire.
