Mitarachi expresses sadness over child death at Moria fire

Minister of Migration and Asylum Notis Mitarachi expressed his profound sorrow on social media over the loss of a six-year-old child in the fire that broke out at the Moria hotspot at Lesvos island on Monday.

"I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic event of the loss of a six-year-old child following a fire that broke out at the reception and identification facility at Moria. I want to express my sincere condolences to his family," the minister wrote on Twitter.
