Cold front "Zenobia" to bring low temperatures and snowfall from Saturday

Very cold air masses from the Arctic are going to affect Greece from Friday night, bringing a substantial drop in temperatures and bad weather conditions. The new cold front, that was named "Zenobia", will mostly affect the eastern and southern parts of Greece bringing heavy rainfall and rainstorms while snow is going to fall in the mountainous areas.

In parallel, gale-force northerly winds will prevail in the eastern parts of Greece including the Aegean Sea. According to Athens National Observatory's meteo service the weather will improve on Monday 30 December.
