Changes in supplementary pensions to be applied from Jan 2021, Mitarakis says

"The changes in the supplementary pensions is one of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' election campaign promises and will be implemented from 1 January, 2021 and will refer to the new in the labour market" stated Deputy Labour Minister Notis Mitarakis to the radio station Parapolitika on Monday.

Referring to the main pensions, he said that the insurance contributions should be reduced and announced that they will drop from 20 to 15 pct for both employers and employees.

In parallel, he noted that new job positions will be created from the above reductions while the income of the worker will increase.
