From Monday no employer will explain why he dismissed an employee, Labour Min Vroutsis said

On Monday 19 August a circular the will abolish the reasons for layoff, namely, the employer's obligation to state the reasons he dismissed his employee to ERGANI system, will be signed, said Labour Minister Yiannis Vroutsis to private TV SKAI on Sunday.

The Labour Minister explained that the next employer will not be able to see directly the employee's file "but because the employee will be able to see his own file, it is obvious that the next employer will ask from the employee to see the reasons the previous employer dismissed him".

"From now on no employer will explain why he dismissed his employee", Vroutsis said.
