Misdemeanour charges brought against alleged Rouvikonas leader

A public prosecutor on Tuesday pressed misdemeanour-level charges against an alleged leading member of the anarchist group "Rouvikonas" (Rubicon), who had been arrested the previous day.

The charges include that of incitement to commit crimes - linked to posts put up by the accused on social media - and morally instigating the destruction of other people's property, for the paint attack on the Federation of Hellenic Enterprises (SEV) building.

The suspect is to be tried by a special court for perpetrators caught in or soon after the act.
