Syriza: New cabinet, old faces

New Democracy's new cabinet "is neither new, nor small and flexible," Syriza party said on Monday, accusing newly sworn in Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis of appointing 51 ministers and deputies "to fulfill the ambition of as many ND members as possible."

In a statement after the cabinet list was released, Syriza further criticized Mitsotakis for including migration and penal policies under the Citizen Protection ministry, "something that does not happen in any other European country."

In this multitude of appointees, it said, "the only thing that's missing from the new Mitsotakis government is women - a bad start from the very first day."
