ND's Mitsotakis urges all citizens to participate in the elections

"Elections can be combined with beaches," main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Thursday in an interview with Real FM.

He made a call to all citizens to participate in the elections, stressing that citizens will decide whether "we will leave behind a decade of crisis or the country will remain in decline".

Mitsotakis promised tax cuts for companies in 2020, based on the 2019 revenues, as well as a reduction of the ENFIA property tax from the autumn of 2019.

He explained that there is no additional fiscal space in 2019, adding that the pension benefit given before the European elections instead of in December cannot be given again this year. "The birth allowance will be included in the next 2020 budget", Mitsotakis added.
