No civil servants will be laid off and no benefits will be abolished, main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Tuesday from the city of Volos.
He called on the voters that did not support his party in the European elections to do it now: "We welcome them, we want them all," he said, adding that the country must have a strong government.
Mitsotakis is touring the region of Magnesia.
