The "Pratto" Movement, led by Nikos Kotzias, will not run in the Greek general elections on July 7, its Political Secretariat said, expressing regret for its treatment by ruling SYRIZA.
In a party statement, its Political Secretariat said that all attempts to collaborate with Syriza were either ignored or rebuffed, "a behavior by Syriza that does not reflect our joint actions and the struggles we shared the last eight years," and it called on its followers to vote for progressive leftist forces at will.
The movement was founded by Nikos Kotzias, who as Foreign Minister worked on and signed the Prespes Agreement with the Republic of North Macedonia, as is now known.
