KINAL can guarantee the progressive solutions the country needs, Gennimata says

Movement for Change (Kinima Allagis, KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata visited the bus depot (OSY) in the Piraeus district of Rendis on Monday.

In her statements, Gennimata accused the SYRIZA government of letting the city's public transport system fall apart. "Tsipras destroyed public transport, raising fares and causing greater inconvenience for passengers. An unchecked domination of the Right will bring new problems for the workers and the company," she claimed.

KINAL, Gennimata said, "guarantees modern urban transport, without shortages, that will provide low-cost services to citizens and respect the workforce."

She said that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras had allowed himself to become the "greatest sponsor" of main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his party, noting that Greece and Greek society need a strong progressive force acting as a "counterweight" to conservative policies and irresponsible populism.

"KINAL can guarantee the progressive solutions the country needs and for this reason the citizens must give KINAL a clear and strong mandate in the upcoming elections. A mandate that will prevent ND's domination and also weaken SYRIZA for good," she said.
