Kontonis resigns from SYRIZA's central committee

Former Justice Minister Stavros Kontonis on Thursday resigned from SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance's central committee.

Speaking to ANT1 TV , he said that he remains a member of SYRIZA and explained that he resigned because of "the situation that has arisen within the party, with an internal struggle that does not reflect the demands of society, the workers and all those that expected something better from SYRIZA."
